The Active S1 is the professional’s dream bass reinforcement device. It is small, trendy, and extremely user friendly, and churns out bass that will put larger subwoofers to shame. The cabinet is a unique vented band pass design that allows the high excursion 12” driver to effortlessly belt out the lower frequencies. Special attention has been paid to the optimal matching of the amplifier and the driver so that overhang, a common occurrence in such cabinet designs resulting in one-note-bass, is minimized. The result is tight, punchy bass. The high efficiency amplifier module is conservatively rated at 300 watt and features all your sub-woofing needs, including a limiter! The S1 may be easily connected to a line level controller (mixer) or even patched via the Active 1B. The S1 may be linked (daisy chained) to other powered devices in custom installation applications. A special summing patch bay is also available from Sonodyne Pro in the event that you may need to feed a mono signal to the S1.
