The A-Lign is a unique professional loudspeaker. It combines the musicality of high fidelity with the coverage and efficiency of pro audio, and brings to indoor venues, the highest level of sound reinforcement. A true line array source, it performs remarkably in venues with poor acoustics, and also drastically reduces unwanted feedback during live performances.

The A-Lign was designed to perform to strict acoustical parameters. Critical in the design was the HF waveguide. Typically, in a full range monopole speaker, the high frequency reproduction is also entrusted to cone transducers. While this fulfils the SPL criteria, it almost always fails to meet the necessary frequency extension required. to generate cylindrical waves at very high frequencies. The A-Lign innovative waveguide utilizes 8 identical 1Ó custom made tweeters coupled to a reinforced fibre waveguide. This, in conjunction with the robust 3.5Ó mid range transducers produces an impressive frequency bandwidth, and importantly, true cylindrical waves. This means that for every doubling of distance, the sound pressure level drops not by the conventional 6 dB, but 3 dB only! This ensures uniform coverage in a horizontal span of 100° (-6dB).

The A-Lign enclosure is 5 mm solid aluminum (extruded) with aluminum die cast endcaps. This rigidity ensures that cabinet resonance is minimized and there are no spurious noises or unwanted colouration.There is provision for 8 Ohm and 100 volt connectivity. The front plastic grille blends with the slender aluminum enclosure. Colour options are black or white.

There are various ways to use the A-Lign.
· For speech reinforcement, multiple A-Lign Sats may be connected via the 100 volt inputs. These can then be pole or wall mounted
· For music, the A-Lign active Sub serves as able companion. This compact subwoofer has a built in D Class bi amplifier that provides 400 watts to the A-Lign sat and 400 watts for itself. Additionally, it has master gain, and sub level trims, and 0°/ 180° phase switch. A pole mount adapter allows for easy mounting of the A-Lign Sat.
· For large venues, it is possible to couple 2 sets of A-Ligns with 2 subs as shown. This not only results in very impressive loudness and coverage but also LF extension of the line source. The hardware accessories have been standardized and kept to a minimum extra to assist in ease of carry and setup.
