The Audience
M05, M15 and M25 are unique loudspeakers.
Typically such compact speakers are not capable of maintaining high fidelity at loud listening levels. The Audience utilize high grade transducers housed in a sturdy aluminum cabinet to not only produce excellent tonality, frequency bandwidth, dynamics, and predictable coverage but also very high sound pressure levels (loudness). It is thus an ideal solution for effective music and speech reproduction and distribution in large gatherings or where ambient noise is high (eg: small to modest sized auditoriums, pubs, large retail outlets) There are speakers, and then there are speakers. The MH 18 is definitely in the latter category. That is, it is a speaker with a difference. Architectural acoustics host a lot of challenges. We face this everyday. There is no fixed rule to govern how the speaker will be installed, what area it will address, among others. Since this variable situation arises from the freedom to create, we thought up a speaker that fits the need. The MH 18 is the newest member of the popular Audience series. It retains the articulation and compact-yet-loud nature of the series and adds to it two critical elements: Excellent low frequency and variable coverage. The 8" high excursion-low resonance LF element minimizes the need for additional subwoofers and hence frees up all-important floor space. The HF element is smooth and extends easily upto 18 kHz without audible dips. Additionally it may be rotated 90° to accommodate both horizontal and vertical applications. The Audience may be flown or wall mounted using its proprietary hardware. The M05 and MH 18 have both direct and transformer coupled inputs (please check specifications for details). The Audience is meant for indoor use or for outdoor use (provided it is not directly exposed to the elements). | ||
