Presenting the ExBar, an audio technology marvel from Sonodyne. The ExBar is powered by Sonodyne's proprietary MDI® (Multi Dimensional Imaging) algorithm that provides a previously unheard satellite TV and DVD experience. Suddenly movies come to life with room-filling multi-dimensional sound from one sleek aluminum speaker tucked neatly below your plasma/LCD.
The MDI®, Multi Dimensional Imaging, is our proprietary 3-D sound enhancing algorithm that widens stereo soundstage and creates a 3-D sound field. Through clever signal processing of information from a stereo soundtrack differently for the two channels, in phase and frequency, MDI® creates an illusion of sound sources beyond the stereo sound field. The listener is thus immersed in 3-D sound.
The ExBar is available in 2 sizes and is paired with the ExBass active subwoofer to reproduce the human hearing spectrum for both music and, with MDI®, for movies.
