The heart of theGenie Project Pack is the innovative
amplifier, IA 6410
It can be set to
drive up 6 to 12 Genies at a time … or 4 Genies and 1 Sub 28P,
as it does in the ‘Project Pack-1’ package. The output stage
of the IA 6410 uses discrete Class A/B amplifiers for each
channel (as opposed to the general practice of transformer
coupled output stages). This results in the entire frequency
bandwidth, tonality and dynamics to be retained in the signal
from amplifier to speaker. Additionally, each of the 6
amplifiers inside has its own volume control (in addition to a
master level).
Of course, it comes with other goodies
like auto power (standby), mono/ stereo switching and special
filters for the Genies and the
