The Sonodyne PSX 828 L is a dual vented bandpass system. This design provides a smooth mid bass to low frequency extension as well as high efficiency in a stackable, compact enclosure.

This device has been designed while keeping in mind the professionals use. The dual pumping action of the 18” high excursion drivers in the vented bandpass design results in very high efficiency and allow this unit to blend seamless with the 412 M, another very high efficiency high-mid and HF device. The combination of the 412 M and 828 L low frequency loudspeaker system forms a three way system, with the crossover between these two devices being active. For optimal matching of the 412 M and 828 L the SC 2.2 X system controller is recommended. This controller provides equalization, crossover filters, and ultra high and low frequency protection. This device also has user defined options for ideal matching of the two devices that may vary under different circumstances.

The 828 L is finished in black and is factory packed with support/carry wheels but without flying/support kit. In its standard form the 828 L is meant for use indoor and for large PA rigs outdoors provided it is not exposed to the elements.
