Flight Ten, Bowling Alley
When the Flight 10, the first Bowling Alley in the heart of Calcutta was on the drawing board, Sonodyne was called in to design and implement a ‘happening’ channel music solution since it was catering to primarily teenagers and young couples. Moreover, while being undistorted, the music had to be heard over the mayhem created by the bowling balls thundering across on the wooden floors and striking the pins.

Simplicity was again the order of the day. Sound simplicity that is. The Bowling Alley features the ever-popular MS 220 active and passive monitors daisy chained together to ensure easy wiring, and a uniform distribution of sound pressure. The Roarr powered subwoofers bring up the lows. Clever placement, balanced connections and active systems ensure a clean yet loud sound throughout the venue.

Clown Town Children’s Park
The idea was novel to begin with. There is so much entertainment for the grown ups…we needed one for the kids! The Park has children’s playrooms, a skating rink, giant balloons to bounce on, and electronic cars! What they needed now was a state of the art all weather PA system, and also, a ‘very thumping’ discotheque.

Customized all weather speakers were commissioned (soon to be commercially launched). These speakers were driven by a powerful PSA amp that rendered a clean 50 Watt rms power to each speaker. This same signal was fed to the DJ booth, which had the choice of selecting the park channel music source, or its own, as the source for the Power Pac 1.

The results can be best summarized in our clients’ words.." I just love to listen to my favorite music on the park PA while the sun goes down over the giant
balloons…"
