JAZZ
BLUES AND BEYOND 2004
Kolkata was the venue for the largest Jazz Fest in the country
held from January 22-25, 2004. Huge crowds gathered to listen
to Jonas Hellborg & V Selvaganesh, Hans Mantel, Emtrio,
Karin Krog to name a few.
To cater
to the sound needs of this prestigious event, the organizers,
Congo Square, contacted Sonodyne.
10,000 watts
of unadulterated power had every ear hooked. The system used
was the new PSX series horn loaded PA system along with in three
way configuration and the Active stage monitors. Needless to
say, Sonodyne was a huge hit both with audience and performers!
UNWIND CENTRE, BANGLORE

Unwind Centre stands for high voltage music
but free of drugs, alcohol and sexual suggestiveness. The musicians
are not allowed to use abusive language and intoxication of
any kind is strictly prohibited. The various music events focus
on raising funds and awareness towards various social projects.
Every Friday is an event called ‘Live 1o1.' A host of
musicians have performed at Live1o1 from all over the world.
It’s a world-class platform for professional musicians
to display their talents and for the ones on their way up the
ladder, a place to nurture their skills. This is a place where
the audience not only watches the musicians perform, but where
they also get engaged in the live experience. Live 101 is not
about events or shows; it’s about giving people an experience,
which they will cherish for years to come. Its Simple - its
Fun and it’s an Experience.
