Today, a large chunk of our waking hours is spent working, and … well, eating, shopping, and the other great stuff that we city dwellers do. The quality of the sound we listen to is very important at home … should it be any less important in our favourite haunts?

We think not.

Presenting the Genie Project Pack. The Genie 1, after its successful outing in hi-fi, now teams up with a beefy power amplifier (1A 6410), and a passive subwoofer (Sub 28P) to bring you great sound wherever you go! And shows very little of itself while doing so. CA 4.1 X: The heart of the system is the innovative amplifier.

IA 6410
It can be set to drive up 6 to 12 Genies at a time … or 4 Genies and 1 Sub 28P, as it does in the ‘Project Pack-1’ package. The output stage of the IA 6410 uses discrete Class A/B amplifiers for each channel (as opposed to the general practice of transformer coupled output stages). This results in the entire frequency bandwidth, tonality and dynamics to be retained in the signal from amplifier to speaker. Additionally, each of the 6 amplifiers inside has its own volume control (in addition to a master level).

Of course, it comes with other goodies like auto power (standby), mono/ stereo switching and special filters for the Genies and the 28P.

SUB 28P
The heart of the Genie Project Pack is the innovative amplifier, The Sub 28P is a passive bandpass subwoofer that utilizes two 8” transducers. Its unique shape and prodigious bass from its small enclosure may be attributed to its innovative fibre glass cabinet. The critical matching of Sub 28P and the IA 6410 results in the sub delivering tight, deep, room-filling bass. The Sub 28P may be floor or wall mounted.
